Amy is a Utah-based singer/songwriter who writes music about love, heartbreak, and the ups and downs of life.
Amy has been singing since she could speak, and has always loved to perform. She started writing songs when she was 13 years old and hasn’t stopped since. After releasing her first single, “Fighter,” in 2016, she continued to release singles until the release of her first full album “Healing Heart” in October of 2019. The album is full of songs that showcase Amy’s honest and heartfelt interpretations of love, heartbreak, and the ups and downs of life - all subjects which continue to inspire her writing today. One of her recent singles, “Anxiety” was featured on iHeartRadio and Utah’s #1 Top Hit Radio station, 97.1ZHT as well as Good Things Utah. It was described as “a melancholy empowerment anthem that deserves to be heard by more people” by Provo Music Magazine. Her music has grown extensively, reaching 77,285 listeners with almost 230,000 streams in 2023 alone.
In her free time, you can find her spending time with her husband, 1 year old son, and fur babies.
Amy still remembers when Taylor Swift announced her new album, Speak Now, and said “This time, I’m naming names.” She was so inspired by Taylor’s fearless songwriting, and her courage to say exactly how she felt. Ever since then, Amy’s goal has been to be as honest and vulnerable in her songwriting as she can be. She writes about things that everyone feels, without realizing they’ve felt it. She takes unique spins on common issues and brings them to life. She firmly believes no one is ever alone in what they’re feeling, and her goal is to make anthems for each individual, whether it’s about going through a complicated break up, falling in love, doubting love, calling out a bad friend, dealing with anxiety - the list goes on. She’ll write it, and hopes that you’ll connect with it.
